How to Dye Iron on Letters Custom Glossy Rainbow Pattern Step by Step Tutorial
We're taking iron on letters to a whole new level by creating this glossy custom rainbow patterned. Flocked iron on patches have often been used to create dyed iron on letters. We'll show you how to use these 100% embroidered ready to dye iron on letters to create unique custom colors and patterns for your project. I love the high gloss look and the raised letters make graphics pop!
Here's what you need:
1. Fabric paint
2. White iron no patch alphabet letters
3. Paint brush
4. Contact Paper
6. Paint palette to use for paint color mixing
Use the contact paper as the base for your iron on letter painting palette.
With the contact paper's sticky side up use the ruler to start placing your iron on letters in a straight row.
Create your own shades of colors. Toothpicks are great for mixing custom colors.
I used a marker (black lines to the left of the letter C) to help me evenly space out the colors on the iron on letters.
Once the paints dries, remove the iron on letters from the contact paper. Then use a cloth to color the letter sand iron on directly to your pouch or tote.
