DIY Retro Classic California Pouch
When you can't find a gift for your friend who has it all, you can make it! This retro pouch is the perfect little bag to take on road trips, to a yoga class or a stroll in the park.
Keep things modern and clean by focusing on the font. Add a bit of sparkle and a fun little twist to create that "wow factor!"
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Weeding Tool for Vinyl Heat Transfers
I used the "monoton" font which you can download for free
. I used the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine
to create the text. Make sure to turn on the "iron on setting." For my machine, I used the "cardstock" setting on my machine to cut out this text. Two "Malibu" text - one in rose gold, used for the accent color, and the other text in gold.
The rose gold accent added a fun little twist. After ironing on the gold letters, I cut each rose gold letter out and iron it onto the pouch one letter at a time - to make sure the placement was correct.
Make sure to iron on the final letters on high heat (cotton setting) using an iron. Use a cloth to protect the letters and iron over to make sure the vinyl adheres to the bag.
